Junior Designer/Digital Strategy
Boss Lady - All smiles, all day, everyday
With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Maren believes in sound design above all else. She knows good design creates powerful connection—and believes it is that connection that makes your business thrive. With past roles ranging from art director to senior designer, Maren leveraged her impressive experience in the advertising world to found Maren Rush Creative Design following the birth of her daughter in 2016. She is passionate about bringing clients' ideas to fruition and aspires to create lasting relationships with each of our clients—embracing a true partnership approach. When she's not managing client projects or composing stunning design assets, you can find her wine-and-dine'ing her way around Reno (likely in one of the many vintage Land Rovers her husband has refurbished), or at home herding her kiddos, cat, dog, and the newest member of a her family: her very enthusiastic puppy, Buddha.
Partner in Crime - Marketing Manager
A man of few words, we keep Josh mostly behind the scenes. With decades of experience designing and building snowboard terrain parks to his name, he's your go-to guy for anything you may need custom-built—think: beautiful menu boards, stunning signage, impressive marketing strategies, and more. A born project manager, he's also the man responsible for keeping any and all of our clients' marketing needs organized and planned to a T. Josh pretty much knows everyone, everywhere—so he's an absolute master at developing strategic partnerships to help grow your business.
Illustrator - Lead Designer
Cheyanne is a lifelong learner and work addict. No matter the medium—playing with pixels or penciling away—Cheyanne is a graphic guru, creating stunning designs that will stop your target audience in its tracks. She specializes in everything from jaw-dropping illustration to beautiful web design to strategic social media planning. (Oh, and did we mention parrot training?)
Copywriter - Content Developer - Ninja-esque editor.
Whether you need website content that moves your audience to action, product packaging copy that pops, or a bio that stands out from the masses, Gillian is your go-to girl. An award-winning copywriter whose words have accomplished everything from getting a journalism college accredited to snagging her the first spot in a collection of creative essays, she believes few things in this world are as powerful as a strategically placed em-dash and a well written headline. On the rare occasion she's not hovered over her laptop taking care of our clients' copy needs, you can find her dreaming about tacos in a hot yoga class, adventuring around Tahoe with her Catahoula, or hanging in her backyard hammock with a Joan Didion book.
Junior Designer - Digital Strategy - Will Work for Bikes.
Our team’s junior designer and digital strategist, Alec is your go-to guy for engaging content and eye-catching design. Lately, he’s even been known to dip his toes in the waters of animation—creating stunning graphics that move your audience to action. (See what we did there?) When he’s not building a website or perfecting his digital designs, you can find him riding one of his many bikes, skiing around Lake Tahoe, or participating in the occasional hack-athon. He also has a soft spot for Land Rovers and life behind the lens of a camera (click, click).
Social Media - Digital Strategy Consultant - Insta Grid Guru. (*or, other options for this last descriptor: “Ideas Whisperer.” “Don’t take my coffee.” “Festival Fanatic.” “Online whisperer.” “Savors screen time.” “Gets all of the likes.” “Influencer doesn’t begin to describe it.”)
Looking to grow your followers, run a killer digital campaign, or engage your audience in a way that isn’t a total snooze-fest? Kaitlin has your back. With over eight years of experience developing award-winning digital marketing strategies, Kaitlin’s experience includes everything from planning an epic social media international influencer trip to helping the Desert Research Institute and Renown Health bolster participation in the Healthy Nevada project. She’s been the chosen keynote speaker at two international tourism conferences (can we get an autograph?), helped groups like the Nevada Bureau of Land Management and This is Reno develop engaging social media strategies, and—not for nothing—has also raced a camel. When Kaitlin’s not in our offices coming up with crazy-creative, always-effective digital strategies, you can find her at a music festival, on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee (strong and black, please), or cuddled up with her three rescue black Labs, who she describes as “her entire world” (just don’t tell her husband that).
